The differential expression analysis using the Likelihood Ratio Test. Basically it’s a method to compare differential expression gene across different “levels”. Here we use patient as factor to make the comparison. Genes were ranked based on “stat” score, which represent the deviance between the reduced model and the full mode. Ranked genes were selected for further downstream analysis.
